As we near the peak of hurricane season, the tropical Atlantic and eastern Pacific are both quite active today. Potential Tropical Cyclone Six expected to develop, an Atlantic tropical wave to watch, Norman a Category 4 hurricane in the Eastern Pacific

The tropics are very active today in both the Atlantic and Eastern Pacific. In the tropical Atlantic, a tropical wave which has just exited the coast of Africa has been designated Potential Tropical Cyclone Six and Tropical Storm Warnings have been issued for parts of the Cabo Verde Islands.
